What we are looking for:

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and we have been serving our customers for over 80 years. We are looking for someone energetic, with a great attitude and excellent customer service skills to join our 80+ year legacy as a Counter Sales Representative for our busy Branch.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

About the Position:

The Counter Sales Representative provides excellent customer service and HVAC solutions to ARS customers by meeting their needs to the best of their ability while demonstrating and maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.

o Establishes a maintains a positive rapport with customers by using positive verbal communication and providing prompt and courteous service.
o Conducts counter sales transactions, credit and cash goods for credit and complete warranty paperwork.
o Sells equipment, tools, parts, accessories, materials, and supplies to dealers, contractors, service firms and industrial accounts.
o Maintain, organize, and stock shelves. Maintain inventory control. Assist in organization of equipment and product displays. Ensure store area is kept sanitary and orderly.
o Recommend and promote related 'add-on' items to customers.
o Advise customers on substitution or modification of related items and products application information.
o Provide accurate price points from Company computer database.
o Receive and fill telephone and facsimile orders effectively.
o Consistent and timely follow-up with customers and sales consultants with accurate quotes and product information.

o Assist customers with loading of merchandise and other needs. Effectively work together with fellow CSR's to ensure continuity of customer service.
o Prepare items for shipping, communicate accurate delivery information, and complete paperwork for warranties as directed by Company Warranty Department.
o Attend branch meetings, technical training sessions and general Company meetings as requested.

Warehouse Receiver | Phoenix

We are looking for an energetic HVAC Receiver for our Distribution Center to join our 80+ year legacy and contribute to our continued success for years to come. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday typically 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Primary Job Duties:

o Unload and unpack shipments of products
o Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities
o Report damages or shortages to the appropriate person
o Match shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork
o Record receiving data in company databases
o Prepare and organize received stock for inventory
o Return damaged products to senders
o Monitor inventory levels
o Work with Manager to implement new projects i.e. RF Scan, Streamlined SOP's
o Ensure warehouse is in proper order (clean, debris picked up, forklifts in proper charging area etc.) before the end of each shift
o Safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks (after training)
o Follow the PWM's (Preferred Work Methods) for warehouse
o Ensure all Safety Procedures followed
o Wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
o Additional duties as assigned by Manager

Territory Sales Manager | So Cal Region
What we are looking for:

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and we have been serving our customers for 82 years. We are looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager for our Southern California Region. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) and will be based out of San Diego, CA. Frequent travel is required.

About the Position:

The Territory Sales Manager will generate sales and margin growth for all parts of our business. Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing customers. Generate new customer business by contacting leads and following through on quotes and technical support.
Primary Duties:

o Grow sales utilizing assigned customers as well as generating new customers
o Develop existing accounts to increase sales and expand product lines by consistently communicating solutions and providing technical support
o Develop and open new accounts by consistently cold calling to provide new solutions to make their job easier and offering product support/promos
o Coordinate sales activities to support various product lines by communicating and working with branch staff and key vendors
o Analyze customer sales reports or diminishing sales categories and strategize a plan for increasing book of business through better service or diversifying product line
o Coordinate with management on product planning, inventory, and new solutions or promos for customers
o Coordinate with Business Director in balancing territory. Assigned accounts must maintain or have potential of minimum $50,000 with maximum of 35 total accounts.

What we are looking for:

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

What you will be doing:

o Manage, motivate, and mentor branch employees which may include: Counter Sales Position(s), Warehouse/Delivery, and in larger branches Receiving/Transfer clerks, Counter trainee, Sales;
o Ability to "wear many hats" is required. Branch Manager will need the ability to actively support the following: performing site evaluations, assisting in project scheduling, supporting sales/quotes, performing warehousing functions
o Manage the performance of direct reports, including work allocation, performance management, training, coaching, succession planning, career development and compensation;
o Foster a culture of clear, direct communication within the branch
o Monitor Branch Sales and find innovative ways to increase
o Oversee and maintain customer service levels, including customer inquiries and resolution of customer issues. Ensuring we are delivering an excellent customer experience
o Work closely with Regional Manager to understand branch performance and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) targets such as: REPORTING, DAILY TRANSFERS, RECEIVING PO'S TIMELY, WEEKLY CYCLE COUNTS, DAILY BANK DEPOSITS, PROKEEP MGMT, ETC.
o Ensure "BRANCH SCORECARD" CRITERIA are being consistently applied throughout the branch;
o Ensure the branch team receives the proper safety training and equipment
o Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of branch operations; managing sales performance, customer focus, on-site facilities; vehicle fleet etc.

What we are looking for:

o 3-5 years HVAC distribution or relevant HVAC experience, counter sales
o 3-5 years management experience
o Ability to manage multiple direct reports
o Ability of provide and maintain top notch customer service
